Female FTSE Board Report released

The number of women directors on top company boards has increased to a record 15% but is still well down on a target of 25% set by a government-commissioned review, new research has revealed.

An official report will this week confirm that the proportion of women on FTSE 100 boards has increased to just under 15 per cent from 12.5 per cent in the past year, well below the Government’s 2015 target of 25 per cent.
