Nicola Horlick, the investment manager and chief executive of Bramdean Asset Management, has announced the expansion of her business interests into private members’ clubs.
The new venture, which is called Georgina’s Restaurants Limited, has secured Adam Byatt, chef and proprietor of triple AA Rosette-ranked London restaurant Trinity, as its consultant executive chef. Horlick is offering shares in Georgina’s to private investors through the Enterprise Investment Scheme (EIS) and aims to raise £2 million.
Nicola Horlick, chairman of Georgina’s Restaurants Limited, said: ‘There is a real dearth of warm and welcoming clubs on the outskirts of London and we intend to fill this gap in the market. I am thrilled to be working with Adam Byatt, a brilliant and visionary chef, who will make a huge impact on the quality and style of our offering. We have been developing the Georgina’s concept for two years and now have an excellent site in Barnes, which offers great potential.’
Adam Byatt said: ‘I am delighted to be working with Nicola and her team to realise this exciting opportunity to develop a series of clubs, which will be affordable and provide high quality food and service.’
The company has received preliminary approval from HMRC. The first Georgina’s outlet will open in Barnes, south west London, in the autumn.

where are you with the georgina’s restaurant project? If you need a formula that will work you only need look at the Chesea Arts club. Barnes is full of creative people and could do with a restaurant/club for like minded people. Cheslea has for years had a waiting list so why not try it in Barnes ?
