A fantastic initiative and a real in your face positive demonstration of Corporate Social Responsibility in action from a national media brand. Events such as this can only inspire young people to achieve professonally and they emphasise that there is more to life than becoming a celebrity! As a young girl I sought the advice of role models that did not fit into the strait jacket of accepted norms. Ironically I now get asked to speak to young people about overcoming adversity and I share through personal experience how challenges that can appear insurmountable are not if you tackle them bit by bit (I am a marketer and writer yet have Chronic repetitive strain injury severe enough to be classed as a disability, yet this did not stop me from writing my first book last year) A great piece and an incredible initiative. It will be good to read the follow up after the event.
