Doug Richard, former BBC Dragon and founder of training academy School for Startups, has launched a two-day boot camp for 300 entrepreneurs. The training event, In 48 Hours, will be held at the national startups festival, MADE: The Entrepreneur Festival, in Sheffield, and will focus on how small businesses can use the internet to grow more efficiently.
Doug says: ‘Most small businesses in Britain fail to take full advantage of the opportunities offered by the Internet and in most cases only manage an online brochure for their goods or services.’
He adds: ‘In 48 Hours will provide a standard for specific expertise-based training. It will help small businesses realise what little time and effort it needs to take advantage of the online opportunities and become more successful.’
The boot camp will take place on 10 and 11 September.
