Working hard and eating healthy is sometimes a handful to manage alongside a heavy workload. The Pure Package brings all your dietary needs straight to your front door. It aims to take the effort out of preparation and helps busy women (and men) to keep to a structured diet or eat healthily, even with the most hectic of lifestyles.
After sampling the programme I found the pre-packaged food was fresh and palatable but could become boring and repetitive if eaten for more than two weeks. Nothing replaces cooking a meal for yourself, completely to your own specifications and tastes, but the package is an ideal alternative for someone wanting to control their diet while erasing the time it takes to prepare meals.
The menu selection ranges from granola muesli with live yogurt to mushroom barley risotto and chocolate mousse to finish. A driver drops off the tailor made food to your front door while you sleep ready for you to collect in the morning. The majority of meals can be cooked or reheated in the oven or microwave and the plan even provides your snacks for the day.
By offering a range of tailor made package plans (typically breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks for 10 days will cost £33.95 per day) it has attracted hoards of celebrity clients. Hugh Jackman uses the Pure Package to deal with the demands of being on set filming and training for his next role, while Patsy Kensit describes the food as ‘unbelievable.’
You can even hire a personal chief, although it does come at a price, for £59.99 per day you can have your meals tailored to your specific needs. Picky eaters, like myself, don’t need to fret because the Package can take into consideration up to 3 variations in meals due to allergies and personal dislikes.
