It’s been a few months since the National everywoman Conference but we’re still feeling reverberations from a great event. This week we heard from Paula Wynne, one of our contributors at last November’s event. She felt so inspired by what she saw and heard on the day, and most importantly who she met – like-minded women in business – that she decided that night to take a leap and get a book published, an idea she’d had for a long time but had never progressed with. Sure enough, last week she received a publishing deal. That’s fantastic news – Paula made for a really captivating panelist in the ‘Build Your Online Presence for Business Success’ so we look forward to reading her book!

One of the things that comes up time and time again from members we talk to who attended the Conference last year is how amazing and inspirational Allegra McEvedy’s keynote speech was. Allegra provided us with her top tips for business success, based on her own experiences working her way up through the ranks as a chef, launching the LEON restaurant chain and venturing into a broadcasting career. If you were unable to attend last year, or would like to be re-inspired watch the highlights now.

It’s the 2010 everywoman Conference Scotland in a few weeks time (March 2nd) and we’ve secured another great keynote speaker to offer you some sage advice. Liz Jackson MBE has worked wonders at Great Guns Marketing and is such a brilliant figure to learn from – indeed, even Channel 4 think so as she recently stepped in front of the cameras for The Secret Millionaire, which is airing again on More 4 next week (Monday 8 Feb, 10pm). Take a watch and we dare you to be anything but inspired!
